on what causes men and women to abuse their spouses and children is another good way to write the essay. Or they can even write it as an informative essay, informing others about the psychological effects of children living with families that are violent toward each other.

It does not matter whether you notice some changes or not, but media violence is one of the most controversial topics these days.
April 2007 – Virginia Tech University, a student kills 32 other students and injures approximately the same number of people. April 1999 – Columbine High School, two students kill 13 people and wound 23. It is the worst school shooting in the history of the United States. June 1998 – an armed student fires 51 bullets into hundreds of people in his school. Later his parents were found at home also shot dead. 
˙Violence on television can play a positive or negative role on society. When evaluating violence on TV, the negative affects it has on society greatly outweigh the positive. Violence on television has been entertaining viewers for decades and has played a big role in their lives. Viewers tend to copy the things they see on television and violence is shown often, influencing people act violently.
Someone will say that it is a problem between two partners only and nobody else should be involved. Others will say that sometimes a victim provokes a partner and deserves to be hit or abused in some other way. And somebody will say that everything is not that bad, since victims usually stay with their abusers.
After the Columbine massacre, the President Bill Clinton said: “Perhaps we may never fully understand.” The words of the President George W. Bush after the mass shooting in Virginia Tech were “It’s impossible to make sense of such violence and suffering…” Perhaps, after these horrible incidents, the entire American nation hoped that nothing like that would ever happen again. 
School safety has become a hot issue that it is being discussed with a lot of emotion. Fear of violence occurring in school has gripped most schools in America and generally the world over. Even then, there are varied responses to perceived increase of school violence. Many schools have responded to the increase in school violence in a variety of ways.
