It’s nearing the end of summer, and I have no credentials to my benefit these holidays. As the end of the holidays approach, I keep wondering what I have to show for the summer other than the noticeable tan, and the load of incomplete articles adorning my computer. Based on from what I have seen in my circle of friends at home and at school, my assumption is that power and authority changes with everyone. My parents have authority over me and also have lots of power too. However, I notice that as I am getting older I am making more decisions for myself and becoming independent.
