One important point to keep in mind when you are writing expository essay is try to use words that clearly show what they are talking about rather than blatantly telling the reader what is being discussed. But everything should be expressed in the way not to distort the meaning and attitude of author. Use the same words as the author of the story or main characters of situation did use, try to make the same emphasizes and intonations. Do not use national words, that may be unknown to at least one of your listeners.
